Well, not exactly. But still, a little creativity, please?
Three Young Adult Librarians blather about YA literature, YA librarianship, and maybe even the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Yeah, especially since the cover for The Fold was so evocative… ::sigh::
Exactly.
Plus, I think the cover of The Fold is perfect. It’s eye-catching (no pun intended) and will attract the attention of people who don’t know what it’s about, AND it’s a spot-on representation of the story for those who do read it. With My Not-So-Still Life, it stands out visually, but the cover doesn’t tell me anything about the story the way The Fold‘s cover does.
Yeah that is pretty similar… the eyebrows are even the same shape and everything. It almost looks like they used the same image then zoomed out, flipped it, added hair, and changed the colors.
I do think the hair color and eye shadow are cool, and I’d probably like it as a cover it wasn’t nearly identical to The Fold. Besides the makeup, though, the most obvious difference between them (to me, anyway) is the presence or lack of an eyelid fold.
Ha ha, the same cover with all the ethnic content wiped away. C’mon book designers! No need to steal!
By the way, how is A Step From Heaven by An Na? I was thinking of reading that.
Honestly, the only An Na book I’ve managed to finish is The Fold.
