So I recently went on a trip to Egypt. I took some pictures of the YA Section at the Alexandria Library.
It looks like a nice library, but why are the signs not in Arabic? Was it an English language library?
The signs were in Arabic, English, and French. Not sure why the graphic design in the YA area used English. There was a pretty diverse collection of materials in many languages. They said the collection was about 3 million items. The library building itself was internationally funded so that might have something to do with the signage.
