Namely, the Asian-American protagonists in YA fiction list and the YA books in translation list.

Anything to add or suggestions to improve them?

I’ve heard that The Agency: Spy in the House by Y.s. Lee is about a biracial girl who is half English, half Chinese. May want to check on that though. I can’t wait to see your updated lists, they are so helpful!

Really? Well, the book description makes her sound British, not American, so it wouldn’t qualify it for the Asian-American protagonist list. But if it is true, it definitely makes me want to read this book even more!

The book “Absolutley Maybe” has an Asian character who was adopted by white parents in the US. And this guy–he has a LOT of character and personality!

Thanks for commenting, Alli, but I’m looking for more books with an Asian-American main character. Although I do agree that Ted is a pretty awesome character!
